Telangana logs 1,362 new Covid cases, 10 deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana on Saturday reported 1,362 new Covid infections and 10 fatalities, taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,556 and the total caseload to 6,12,196. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday evening, is 18,568.
Between Friday and Saturday, authorities conducted 1,23,005 Covid tests of which results of 1,206 samples were awaited. On Saturday, 1,813 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.38 per cent.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five cases from Adilabad, 81 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 145 from areas under GHMC, 25 from Jagitial, 16 from Jangaon, 25 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, nine from Jogulamba Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 84 from Karimnagar, 122 from Khammam, five from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 26 from Mahabubnagar, 66 from Mahabubabad, 42 from Mancherial, eight from Medak, 66 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 24 from Mulugu, 16 from Nagarkurnool, 83 from Nalgonda, seven from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, 58 from Peddapalli, 26 from Rajanna Siricilla, 97 from Rangareddy, 24 from Sangareddy, 41 from Siddipet, 89 from Suryapet, 26 from Vikarabad, 34 from Wanaparthy, 19 from Warangal Rural, 52 from Warangal Urban and 27 from Yadadri Bhongir.
