Telangana logs 142 new Covid cases, two deaths
A total of 178 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,96,740 with a recovery rate of 98.86 per cent

Hydeabad: Telangana has recorded 142 new Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Monday taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,644 while the total number of positive cases is 3,00,153. As on Monday, there were 1,769 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 178 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,96,740 with a recovery rate of 98.86 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 96.9 per cent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 32,189 Covid tests were conducted in the State and reports of another 624 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 90,16,741 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 3,00,153 have tested positive and 2,96,740 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included six from Adilabad, three from Bhadradri, 31 from areas under GHMC, two each from Jagtiyal and Jangaon, one from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, four from Kamareddy, seven from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, one from Asifabad, five from Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, five from Mancherial, three from Medak, 10 from Medchal Malkajgiri, four from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, three each from Peddapalli and from Siricilla, 12 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, two from Siddipet, three each from Suryapet and Vikarabad, four from Warangal Rural, five from Warangal Urban and three from Yadadri.
