Telangana logs 146 new Covid cases, 2 deaths
A total of 177 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,93,210 with a recovery rate of 98.86 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 146 new Covid-19 infections with two fatalities on Saturday, taking the cumulative number fatalities to 1,616 while the total number of positive cases is 2,96,574. As on Saturday, there were 1,748 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 177 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,93,210 with a recovery rate of 98.86 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97.3 per cent.
Between Friday and Saturday, 26,274 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 656 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 82,95,638 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,96,574 have tested positive and 2,93,210 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one from Adilabad, five from Bhadradri, 29 from areas under GHMC, five from Jagtiyal, two from Bhupalpally, two from Kamareddy, nine from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, one each from Asifabad and Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, seven from Mancherial, three from Medak, nine from Medchal Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, five each from Nagarkurnool and Nalgonda, two from Nirmal, four from Nizamabad, five from Peddapally, one from Siricilla, 11 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, three from Siddipet, four from Siddipet, five from Vikarabad, three from Warangal Rural, eight from Warangal Urban and one from Yadadri.
