Hyderabad: Telangana reported 182 new Covid infections and one fatality on Wednesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 4,017 and the total number of positive cases so far to 6,80,074. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday, was 3,610.

The authorities on Wednesday conducted 37,353 Covid tests of which results of 3,831 samples were awaited. A total of 196 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.87 per cent on Wednesday.

So far, a total of 2,93,95,688 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,80,074 have tested positive and 6,72,447 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one each from Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Jogulamba Gadwal, 91 from areas under GHMC, seven from Jagityal, six from Karimnagar, nine from Khammam, 10 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, one from Nagarkurnool, three from Nalgonda, one each from Nizamabad and Peddapalli, five from Rajanna Siricilla, eight from Rangareddy, five from Sangareddy, nine from Siddipet, three from Warangal Rural, 18 from Hanamkonda and two from Yadadri Bhongir.
