Telangana logs 1,933 new cases, 16 deaths on Monday
On Monday, 3527 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 95.14 percent
Hyderabad: There were 1,933 new Covid infections and 16 fatalities in Telangana till Monday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,394 and the total number of positive cases to 5,93,103. The number of active cases in the State as on Monday evening was 25,406.
Between Sunday and Monday, authorities conducted 1,32,996 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,356 samples were awaited. On Monday, 3527 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 95.14 percent. So far, a total of 1,59,94,238 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State while 5,64,303 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included six cases from Adilabad, 95 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 165 from areas under the GHMC, 45 from Jagtial, 25 from Jangaon, 48 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 34 from Jogulamba Gadwal, six from Kamareddy, 87 from Karimnagar, 160 from Khammam, 13 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 62 from Mahabubnagar, 67 from Mahabubabad, 69 from Mancherial, 20 from Medak, 95 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 64 from Mulugu, 37 from Nagarkurnool, 148 from Nalgonda, 13 from Narayanpet, 11 from Nirmal, 28 from Nizamabad, 89 from Peddapalli, 55 from Rajanna Sircilla, 116 from Rangareddy, 23 from Sangareddy, 56 from Siddipet, 58 from Suryapet, 50 from Vikarabad, 35 from Wanaparthy, 37 from Warangal Rural, 61 from Warangal Urban and 55 from Yadadri-Bhongir.
