Telangana logs 216 new Covid cases, two deaths
A total of 168 persons recovered on Friday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,97,363 with a recovery rate of 98.81 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 216 new Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Friday, taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,652 while the total number of positive cases is 3,00,933. As on Friday, there were 1,918 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 168 persons recovered on Friday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,97,363 with a recovery rate of 98.81 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 96.8 per cent.
Between Thursday and Friday, 34,482 Covid tests were conducted in the State and reports of 338 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 91,49,467 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 3,00,933 have tested positive and 2,97,363 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 10 from Adilabad, six from Bhadradri, 52 from areas under GHMC, six from Jagtiyal, four each from Jangaon and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, one from Jogulamba Gadwal, five from Kamareddy, 11 from Karimnagar, six each from Khammam,Mahabubnagar and Mancherial, three from Mahabubabad, one from Medak, 18 from Medchal Malkajgiri, one from Nagarkurnool, four from Nalgonda, three each from Nirmal and Nizamabad, four from Peddapalli, six from Rajanna Siricilla, 19 from Rangareddy, eight from Sangareddy, seven from Siddipet, two each from Vikarabad and Wanaparthy, three from Warangal Rural, 11 from Warangal Urban and four from Yadadri Bhongir.
