Hyderabad: Telangana reported 336 new Covid infections and one fatality on Tuesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,898 and the total number of positive cases to 6,62,202. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday, was 5,282.
The authorities today conducted 76,481 Covid tests of which results of 2,015 samples were awaited. A total of 306 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.61 per cent on Tuesday. So far, a total of 2,55,79,757 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,62,202 have tested positive and 6,53,022 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one from Adilabad, 10 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 96 from areas under GHMC, 14 from Jagtiyal,
three from Jangaon, two from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, one from Jogulamba Gadwal, two from Kamareddy, 21 from Karimnagar, 20 from Khammam, four from Mahabubnagar, six from Mahabubabad, five from Mancherial, two from Medak, 17 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, two from Mulugu, one from Nagarkurnool, 23 from Nalgonda, one each from Nirmal and Narayanpet, four from Nizamabad, 12 from Peddapalli, three from Rajanna Siricilla, 24 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, seven each from Siddipet and Suryapet, three from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, five from Warangal Rural, 24 from Warangal Urban and 10 from Yadadri Bhongir.
