Hyderabad: Telangana on Friday reported 425 Covid-19 infections, taking the cumulative number of positive infections to 7,86,021 while the total number of fatalities was at 4,108. As on Friday, there were 6,111 active Covid-19 infections in Telangana, a health bulletin said.
Out of the 425 positive infections, a total of 130 Covid infections were from areas under GHMC, 28 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 29 from Rangareddy district, 23 from Nalgonda and 20 from Khammam.
The health department has conducted 41,042 Covid tests on Friday out of which results of 1,437 samples were awaited. A total of 1,060 individuals had recovered on Friday with a recovery rate of 98.70 per cent.
So far, the health department has conducted 3,32,18,000 Covid-19 tests in the State out of which 7,86,021 have tested positive and 7,75,802 persons have recovered.
