Telangana logs 4,693 new cases, 33 deaths
On Thursday, 6,876 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 88.42 per cent
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 4,693 new Covid infections and 33 fatalities on Thursday, taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,867 and the total caseload to 5,16,404. The number of active cases in Telangana as on Thursday evening was 56,917.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 71,221 Covid tests of which results of 2,474 samples were awaited. On Thursday, 6,876 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 88.42 per cent. So far, a total of 1,38,94,962 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,16,404 have tested positive and 4,56,620 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 39 from Adilabad, 118 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 734 from areas under GHMC, 140 from Jagtial, 45 from Jangaon, 63 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 66 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 52 from Kamareddy, 209 from Karimnagar, 198 from Khammam, 50 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 122 from Mahabubnagar, 113 from Mahabubabad, 130 from Mancherial, 57 from Medak, 285 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 58 from Mulugu, 156 from Nagarkurnool, 296 from Nalgonda, 39 from Narayanpet, 37 from Nirmal, 98 from Nizamabad, 126 from Peddapalli, 91 from Rajanna Siricilla, 296 from Rangareddy, 136 from Sangareddy, 150 from Siddipet, 45 from Suryapet, 179 from Vikarabad, 95 from Wanaparthy, 189 from Warangal Rural, 161 from Warangal Urban and 120 from Yadadri Bhongir.
