Telangana Lok Adalat on December 14 offers free settlement for civil, criminal cases

The Lok Adalat will be held free of charge, and any court fees paid for pending cases will be refunded if the matter is settled through the Lok Adalat and no appeal is filed against its award. TSLSA Member Secretary, Ch Panchakshari, encouraged the public to take advantage of this opportunity to resolve their cases, either in person or virtually, in a press release on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA) is conducting Lok Adalat on December 14 in Telangana State at all levels from High Court to Taluq level for settlement of all kinds of civil cases and compoundable criminal cases, both pre-litigation and pending litigation cases.

The Lok Adalat will be conducted without expenditure or fee and the court fee if any paid in the pending cases will be refunded, if the matter is settled through Lok Adalat and no appeal lies against the award passed in Lok Adalat.


The TSLSA has urged general public to avail the benefit of Lok Adalat mechanism for statement of their cases by attending in physical or virtual mode, member secretary, TSLSA, Ch Panchakshari in a press release on Wednesday said.
