Telangana: Man gets life imprisonment for raping minor girl
Convict Mohd Misbahuddin, a tailor from Kanchanbagh, had confined and sexually violated the girl in his house
Hyderabad: A local court on Friday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in the rape case of a minor girl reported in Kanchanbagh in 2023.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on him.
The convict Mohd Misbahuddin (50), a tailor from Hafeezbaba Nagar in Kanchanbagh, had confined and sexually violated the minor girl in his house.
Based on the victim’s complaint, the Kanchanbagh police booked a case and arrested him.
Man jailed for 25 years for rape
Hyderabad: A local court on Friday sentenced a man to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 25 years in the rape case of a minor girl reported at Mangalhat in 2022.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on him.
The convict M Sathyanarayana (44), a carpenter from Old Mallepally, had confined and raped the girl in the absence of her parents. The case was first booked at Begum Bazar police station and later transferred to Mangalhat police station on the point of jurisdiction.
