Telangana: Man gets lifer for killing daughter
The District Sessions Court Judge M V Ramesh Babu delivered the judgment on Tuesday in the murder case which took place in the limits of Nalgonda Town-II police station in 2012.
Nalgonda: The District Sessions Court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to a person for killing his 13-year-old daughter in 2012.
The District Sessions Court Judge M V Ramesh Babu delivered the judgment on Tuesday in the murder case which took place in the limits of Nalgonda Town-II police station in 2012.
Nalgonda Town-II Sub-Inspector D Narsimhulu said Amburi Venkatesh, a resident of Boyawada in the town, strangled his daughter Shivani to death. His wife, who was a government employee, died in 2012. He decided to kill his daughter since he believed that she may become a hurdle in his getting a job on compassionate grounds and also to marry another woman.
The police filed a case and collected all the evidence against him which ensured his punishment in the case.
