Telangana man performs yagam for Kamala Harris victory in US polls

Nalla Suresh Reddy, founder of the Shyamala Gopalan Educational Foundation (SGEF), has initiated an 11-day 'Sri Raja Shyamalamba Sahita Shata Chandi Purvaka Sudarshana Maha Yagam' to pray for Harris's success in the U.S. presidential election.

Kothagudem: As the US presidential election campaign gets intensified with just one week left for polling, a man in Kothagudem district is engaged in seeking divine intervention for the victory of Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris.

Shyamala Gopalan Educational Foundation (SGEF) founder Nalla Suresh Reddy has under taken an 11-day ‘Sri Raja Shyamalamba Sahita Shata Chandi Purvaka Sudarshana Maha Yagam’ wishing for the victory of Harris in the US presidential election.

The yagam started on Sunday at Paloncha in Kothagudem district. Mahanyapurvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam, Surya Namaskaras, Subrahmanyeshwara Swamy Aradhana, Shata Chandi Homam, Maha Sudharshana Homam and Maha Narayana Hrudaya Kavacha Parayanam are being performed every day. 35 Vedic pundits led by a priest Simhadri Anand Kumar, Indraganti Chaitanya and Kodamanchili Satyanarayana Sarma with the assistance from many Vedic pundits and Chaturveda pundits are performing the yagam.

Large numbers of devotees in and around Paloncha have been participating in the yagam. Suresh Reddy informed that Governor of Minnesota and US vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, sent him a video message over phone on Monday appreciating him for performing the yagam for the victory of Harris.

The yagam would conclude on October 30, he added.
