Mancherial: A 38-year-old man died on the spot after he was run over by an auto-rickshaw while crossing the road at Chunnambattiwada in the town on Wednesday night.
Mancherial Sub-Inspector M Praveen said Etakari Venkatesh received grievous injuries when the three-wheeler hit him, resulting in on the spot death for him.
Srujana, the wife of Venkatesh, lodged a complaint with police.
A case was registered. Investigations are underway.
