KARIMNAGAR: Telangana Medical and Sales Representatives Union (TMSRU) on Monday staged a protest demonstration at the Collectorate office opposing new labour laws brought by the Union government. Representatives of the Union gathered at the Collectorate office and raised slogans against the Union government for bringing four new labour codes by abolishing 29 labour laws.

Criticizing the government for changing labour laws without consulting labour unions, they wanted the center to revive old laws by abolishing new ones. They also wanted the government to revive the Sales Promotion Employees Act (SPE Act) 1976 and provide a legitimate working system to medical and sales representatives.
