Hyderabad: Clarity over commencement of classes, either offline or online, for school students is likely to come in a short while with Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy convening a meeting with officials to prepare a plan for reopening of educational institutions from July 1.

The State cabinet had on June 19 instructed the Education department to reopen all categories of educational institutions in the State from July 1 with full preparedness. Students were allowed to attend the classes physically. The cabinet also instructed the department to prepare instructions and guidelines on compulsory attendance of students, online classes and other related issues and release the same at the earliest.

However, there have been apprehensions among parents and students over attending offline (physical) or online classes when the schools reopen from July 1 and whether online classes would be allowed.
