Telangana: MEO injured in teachers scuffle in Jagtial

Mandal Education Officer in Dharmapuri, Sitalakshmi was injured in a scuffle that took place between two teachers in Dhonur government high school on Friday

Jagtial: Mandal Education Officer in Dharmapuri, Sitalakshmi was injured in a scuffle that took place between two teachers in Dhonur government high school on Friday. The parent teacher meeting of both primary and high schools were organized at the same place as both the schools were located on the same premises.

Teachers Kasetti Ramesh (primary school) and Yedapalli Mahesh (high school), both of them have old rivalry, began an argument while the meeting was in progress.


As the argument turned serious, they attacked each other. MEO Sitalakshi, who was also present in the meeting, tried to pacify the fighting teachers. In the melee, she fell on the ground as she was pushed by clashing teachers. She got a fracture on her left hand wrist. The MEO lodged a complaint with the police. The police began investigation by registering the case.
