Hyderabad: Students appearing for the upcoming undergraduate semester examinations in the conventional courses will have more choices among questions.
In section B of the question paper, unit-wise questions choices have been dispensed with for upcoming semester exams and students have to write any five out of 10 questions. The duration of the exam is three hours as per the old template.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic situation, this decision has been taken during a virtual meeting held under the chairmanship of Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof. R Limbadri and Vice Chairman Prof. V Venkata Ramana with Vice Chancellors of six conventional universities including Osmania University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Satavahana University, Palamuru University and Kakatiya University on Saturday.
Similarly, officials have amended the existing almanac for undergraduate first semester courses due to the pandemic. As per the revised almanac, the last date for instructions is February 17 and there will be preparatory holidays and practical examinations from February 18 to 25. The theory examinations will be conducted from February 28 to March 24.
As there were vacancies in PG courses in various universities, it was decided to conduct the Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2021 final phase admission counselling for all PG courses. A schedule for the same will be issued in a day or two.
