Telangana: Mynampally calls Chakradhar Goud a BRS puppet, vows to bulldoze detractors
Congress leader Mynampally Hanumantha Rao accused Chakradhar Goud of acting at the behest of the BRS and used strong words against him, dismissing his criticism and vowing to focus on challenging senior BRS leaders instead of smaller political rivals
Siddipet: Senior Congress leader Mynampally Hanumantha Rao on Monday hit back at party leader Chakradhar Goud, who had levelled serious allegations against him during a press conference in Siddipet the previous day, calling him a “puppet” of the BRS leadership.
Speaking to reporters at Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple in Kudavelly after offering prayers, Mynampally alleged that Goud had spoken against him at the behest of the BRS. He went on to call Goud a “rapist” and warned that he would “bulldoze those who create hurdles” in his path.
Accusing Goud of criticising him merely for recognition, Mynampally said he would rather ignore such remarks than be bothered by them. He added that his focus would be on countering “big leaders” in the BRS rather than responding to criticism from leaders like Goud.
Party Dubbak constituency in-charge Cheruku Srinivas Reddy, Medak DCC president Anjaneyulu and others were present.
