Rajanna Sircilla:  National Human Rights Commission expressed anger at the collector, Sandeep Kumar Jha, for submitting a weak report on the death of an aged woman.

NHRC informed to use its powers to present the collector before the commission personally.

It may be recalled here that an elderly woman, Pitla Ramalakshmi (82), was killed by dogs and ate her body parts in Sevalal thanda of Mustabad mandal on August 1, last year.

Based on the complaint lodged by an advocate, Emmadi Rama Rao, NHRC has taken up an investigation and sought a comprehensive report from the collector on the incident.
