Hyderabad: To ensure transparency in implementation of government schemes, the State government is planning to launch a new portal to display details of various government schemes, application status, and its beneficiaries. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy instructed officials to appoint an officials committee to prepare guidelines to review the information to be shared on the website, without compromising the personal security of people and maintain confidentiality as per the law.

The Chief Minister, who reviewed the status of the Prajavani applications at the State Secretariat on Monday, instructed the officials to adopt transparent and efficient procedures to resolve the Prajavani petitions expeditiously. He wanted them to create a dashboard of Prajavani applications and provide him with live access the applications submitted by the people and the resolutions given by the officials.

“The Prajavani programme being conducted in the district headquarters, should be linked with the Prajavani dashboard held in Praja Bhavan. The issues at the mandal, division and district level should be resolved on the spot,” he said. Prajavani has been conducted 117 times in which people registered 54,619 petitions. Of these, 68.4 percent (37,384) petitions have been addressed.
