A nine-year-old boy died by suicide at Chilver village in Midjil mandal on Sunday. His parents rushed him to a hospital after noticing the incident, but doctors declared him dead. Police have begun an inquiry.

Mahabubnagar: A nine-year-old boy died by suicide at Chilver village in Midjil mandal here on Sunday, reportedly after his parents refused to buy a kite for him.

According to reports, the boy had asked his parents to buy a kite. When they refused to consider his request, he reportedly became upset, went upstairs in the house and hanged himself with a saree.

Noticing his actions, the parents, who were present in the house, rushed him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
