Hyderabad: In a huge setback for Group-I aspirants, the Supreme Court on Monday refused to stay the mains examination in Telangana. The Three judge Bench also refused to issue interim orders regarding the exams. “The Court cannot interfere with the examination, students must have already reached the examination hall,” it said.

It may be recalled that the a special leave petition was filed against the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on the conduct of the Group-I services recruitment.

The Group-I aspirants filed the petition challenging the GO 29 issued by the Telangana government, which according to them, violates the Constitution and deprives reserved category candidates of their opportunity for the Mains exam.
