Dubai: Fifteen workers, including nine Indians, among them one from Telangana, were killed in a road mishap in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

The man from Telangana was identified as Kapeli Ramesh (32) hailing from Metpali mandal in Jagtial district. The workers were travelling in a bus to their worksite in the southern port city of Jizan when their bus collided with a trailer according to Indian community workers. The bus was carrying 26 workers. Among the 15 who were killed, nine were Indians, and the remaining six included three each from Nepal and Ghana.


Eleven workers, including two from Telangana, sustained moderate to serious injuries and were being treated at hospitals, said sources.
