Hyderabad: The TRS NRI unit of USA on Wednesday extended it’s support to Chief Minister and TRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao over his decision to remove Eatala Rajender from the State Cabinet. Further, the Core Committee of the TRS NRI unit of USA also expressed anger over the meetings being held by the Opposition parties’ supporters under the banner of the TRS NRI wing to misguide people.

In a statement issued after the Core Committee meeting on Wednesday, TRS NRI wing coordinator Mahesh Bigala said anybody can speak to anyone or hold meetings in a democratic system. However, he found fault with the meetings being held under the banner of TRS NRI. He stated that the fact that all the participants of the meeting held in support of Rajender, were associated with the Opposition parties and it was evident from the meeting that Rajender had been conspiring against the party for sometime now.

“Etala Rajender made attempts to destabilise and destroy the party from within. Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao always strove for welfare and development of Telangana State. Any attempts to stall it should be thwarted in the budding stages itself. Any attempts to cause loss to Telangana State, should not be encouraged,” he added.

On the occasion, Mahesh Bigala also spoke to the TRS NRI units and other NRI organisations and sought their opinions. The Telangana NRIs voiced their opinion in support of Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao who was implementing numerous welfare and development programmes for people of Telangana State. They stated that systems and society was more important than individuals.

TRS NRI unit of USA core committee members who participated in the meeting are Mahesh Kanneeru, Chandu Thaalla, Poorna Vairi, Srinivas Ganugoni, Vengal Jalagam, Bhaskar Pinna, Mahesh Pogaku, Rishikesh Reddy and Venkat Goud.
