Hyderabad: A special training programme for pre-school teachers working in the private schools would be organised to improve their teaching skills in the State, said Syed Shamael Ahmad, national president Private Schools and Children Welfare Association.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Ahmad said under the National Education Policy 2020, teachers would be extended training through the Central government’s skill training programmes to better educate children and contribute to building a developed nation.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship was extending support for the training, which would be led by the Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) in Telangana, he said. The training would be conducted online for a fee of Rs.8,000.

TRSMA president SN Reddy said the training programme would be beneficial for private school teachers. Teachers can enrol for the 30-hour online training programme, which has 16 credits, via the link https://forms.gle/acgmK2LyKdNu4JDw7.
