Telangana: Over 25 passengers injured as lorry, RTC bus collide in Peddapalli
The bus moving towards Godavarikhani from Peddapalli and lorry rammed into each other.
Pedapalli: About 40 passengers sustained injuries in a road accident that took place near Andugulapalli in the outskirts of Peddapalli town on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred when a lorry and TGSRTC bus coming from opposite directions rammed into each other on Rajiv Rahadari.
Vehicular traffic is being allowed on a single way road due to repair works being done on four lane road. The bus moving towards Godavarikhani from Peddapalli and lorry rammed into each other.
Five of the 25 injured sustained serious injuries. Besides the bus driver, the cleaner and drivre of the lorry were also injured in the accident. The injured passengers were shifted to the Peddapalli hospital in a ‘108’ ambulance for treatment.
