Hyderabad: The Department of Technical Education has added an additional 4,404 convenor quota seats in various engineering courses which will be filled through the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021 final phase of admission counselling.
Of the total new seats, 1,533 have been added in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), 840 seats in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and 672 in CSE (Data Science), according to a press release.
Earlier, during the first phase of counselling, there were a total of 78,270 seats in the convenor quota of which 61,169 seats were allotted and 46,322 seats were confirmed by students.
The new seats will be added to existing vacant seats and they will be available for admissions in the TS EAMCET 2021 final phase of counselling.
The last date to register, paying of processing fee and slot booking for certificate verification in the final phase of counselling is Sunday. The certificate verification will be done on November 8 and the last date for exercising web options is November 9, while seats will be allotted on November 12.
