Telangana: Over 6,000 people, including 684 children, still missing since 2020

According to data obtained by Rajendra Painati, Founder of Youth for Anti-Corruption, a total of 103,494 people have gone missing in Telangana since 2020, with 97,028 of them being traced by the police.

Hyderabad: A total 6468 persons including 684 children who went missing since 2020 still remain untraced and their whereabouts are not known.

According to the data obtained by Rajendra Painati, Founder of Youth for Anti-Corruption, a total of 103494 persons went missing since 2020 in the State and the police could trace 97028 persons.

“Every day many people go missing in Telangana. While some persons are traced, some remain untraced. The government and law enforcement agencies should intensify their efforts to trace the missing persons and provide support to families of missing persons to trace their loved ones,” said Rajendra Painati.
