Telangana Police detain three habitual drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act

Three habitual drug peddlers from Solapur, Mahabubabad, and Bhadradri Kothagudem were detained under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in NDPS Act by Telangana Police. The CID issued orders to curb their repeated involvement in narcotics smuggling cases across the State

Telangana Police detain three habitual drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act

Hyderabad: Three notorious drug peddlers were detained under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 (PIT NDPS Act) by the Telangana Police.

The three persons identified are Suhas Dada Dayagude alias Dada Patel, a resident of Solapur, Maharashtra, involved in eight cases including seven in Telangana; Sapavath Venkanna, a resident of Mahabubabad, involved in four cases; and D Shiva Shanker Reddy, a resident of Bhadradri Kothagudem, involved in eight cases.


The orders were issued by the Telangana Crime Investigation Department to prevent the trio from engaging in similar activities.
