Telangana Police launch anti-drug awareness drive across State with student participation
The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau has launched a week-long anti-drug awareness campaign across the State. Inaugurated by DGP Dr. Jitender, the initiative involves multiple departments and aims to educate students and employees on the dangers of substance abuse.
Hyderabad: A week long awareness program of ill effects of drug abuse will be conducted across the State by the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau.
The program was lunached by DGP Dr. Jitender in presence of Sandeep Shandilya, Director TGANB and other officials at the TGICCC Building on Saturday.
During the event, Dr Jitender highlighted the efforts of the Telangana police in curbing the drug menace in the society and sought cooperation from all stakeholders to put an end to the drug abuse. Around 2000 students from various educational institutions participated in the event.
Nine departments such as Mission Parivarthana, TGANB, Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Asha Hospital, Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), Women Safety Wing, TASK, City Security Councils (Cyberabad, Rachakonda & Hyderabad) and CP Office, Security Wing set up stalls, to showcase their work for educating students and employees.
