Telangana Police win friendly hockey series in Hyderabad

Telangana Police won the men’s title in the friendly hockey series organized by Hyderabad Hockey for Indian hockey’s centenary celebrations. Hyderabad Juniors and TMREIS (Borabanda) girls also won their matches. Prizes were given by Hyderabad Hockey officials

Hyderabad: Telangana Police won the friendly hockey series organized by Hyderabad Hockey as part of the Centenary Celebrations of Indian hockey at Railway Hockey Astro-Turf Ground here on Friday.

Telangana Police defeated Hyderabad XI 3-2 in the men’s section.

In another match, Hyderabad Juniors defeated Hymavathi High School 1-0.

In the girls’ match, TMREIS (Borabanda) defeated St. Joseph’s High School (Ramanthapur) 1-0.

Hyderabad Hockey District president Nageshwar Rao and Hyderabad Hockey general secretary C.R. Bhim Singh gave away the prizes.
