Telangana: Poor lighting blamed as three die in Sangareddy road mishap
Three youths were killed after their motorcycle fell into an under-construction culvert on NH-161B near Nizampet in Sangareddy district. Police suspect poor lighting and lack of warning signboards caused the early morning accident
Sangareddy: Three young men were killed in a road accident on NH-161B in the early hours of Sunday after the motorcycle they were travelling on plunged into an under-construction culvert near Nizampet mandal headquarters.
The victims were identified as Avuti Narasimhulu (27), Jinna Mallesh (24) and Jinna Mahesh (23). All three were close relatives.
Police said the accident occurred during an early morning ride when the motorcycle slipped into the culvert at the construction site.
The lack of proper lighting and warning signboards at the spot is suspected to have caused the mishap.
A case has been registered, and the bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Narayankhed for postmortem.
