Telangana Postal Circle launches Ganga Jal and Rakhi envelopes

Telangana Postal Circle has launched Ganga Jal bottles sourced from Gangotri and special Rakhi Post Envelopes for the festive season. Ganga Jal will cost Rs 30, while Rakhi envelopes are priced at Rs 15 each across selected Post Offices

Hyderabad: Officials of Telangana Postal Circle on Tuesday launched two special products and services for the ongoing festive celebrations.

One is sacred Ganga Jal, sourced directly from Gangotri. Ganga Jal will be available in 250 ml bottles at Rs 30 per bottle. These bottles will be available at all district headquarters head post offices and other selected Post Offices in Telangana Postal Circle. Consumers can book them online at [www.epostoffice.gov.in](http://www.epostoffice.gov.in) during this Sravanamasa season, according to an official release issued by the Assistant Postmaster General (BD, Mails & MMU), K Sudheer Babu.

The second offering is special Rakhi Post Envelopes on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Officials launched the special Rakhi Post Envelopes, priced at Rs 15 each. These envelopes will be available at selected Post Offices for sending Rakhis safely to loved ones. A 10% discount on Speed Post postage charges for Rakhi Mail was also being offered from August 12, 2026 across the postal network, the release said.

Citizens have been asked to visit their nearest Post Office to avail these festive offerings, the postal department official said.
