Hyderabad: Glendale Golfers along with Team Civet Rangers, Team MYSA and Apollo Cancer Crusaders cruised into the semifinals of the Sreenidhi University Telangana Premier Golf League at Hyderabad Golf Course on Tuesday.
The quarterly knockout round was played in both single and doubles format with 4 singles matches and 2 doubles matches for a total of 6 points. In the quarterfinals, Team Civet Rangers ousted Sreenidhi Thunderbolts 4-2; Team MYSA defeated Villaggio Highlanders 4-2; Glendale Golfers had the measure of Devpixel Devils 4-2.
In the match between Apollo Cancer Crusaders and Classic Champs were tied at 3-3 before the former won on a nail-biting sudden death tie-breaker.
Glendale will play Apollo Cancer Crusaders and Team MYSA face Civet Rangers in the semifinals to be played on Thursday.
