Telangana promotes six senior IPS officers to DGP rank

The Telangana government has promoted six senior IPS officers, including Swati Lakra and VC Sajjanar, to the rank of Director General of Police. The officers will, however, continue in their current postings despite the elevation.

Hyderabad: The State government on Wednesday issued an order promoting six senior IPS officers to the rank of Director General of Police.

The officers are Veerisetty Venkata Srinivasa Rao, Swati Lakra, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, Charu Sinha, Dr Anil Kumar and VC Sajjanar.
