Telangana records 4,801 cases, 32 deaths on Tuesday

On Tuesday, 7,430 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 87.58 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 4,801 new Covid infections and 32 fatalities on Tuesday, taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,803 and the total number of positive cases to 5,06,988. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday evening, has reached 60,136.

Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 75,289 Covid rapid tests of which results of 2,878 samples are awaited. On Tuesday, 7,430 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 87.58 per cent. So far, a total of 1,37,54,216 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,06,988, have tested positive and 4,44,049 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 46 from Adilabad, 98 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 756 from areas under GHMC, 139 from Jagtial, 50 from Jangaon, 74 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 64 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 60 from Kamareddy, 172 from Karimnagar, 196 from Khammam, 61 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 162 from Mahabubnagar, 76 from Mahabubabad, 150 from Mancherial, 64 from Medak, 327 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 53 from Mulugu, 189 from Nagarkurnool, 254 from Nalgonda, 47 from Narayanpet, 24 from Nirmal, 88 from Nizamabad, 142 from Peddapalli, 87 from Rajanna Siricilla, 325 from Rangareddy, 116 from Sangareddy, 130 from Siddipet, 136 from Suryapet 163 from Vikarabad, 83 from Wanaparthy, 145 from Warangal Rural, 215 from Warangal Urban and 109 from Yadadri Bhongir.
