Telangana records 493 fresh COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths push toll to 1,680
A total of 157 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,99,427 with a recovery rate of 98.24 per cent.
Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 493 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Wednesday, taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,680 while the total number of positive cases is 3,04,791. As on Wednesday, there were 3,684 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 157 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,99,427 with a recovery rate of 98.24 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 95.3 per cent.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, 56,464 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 893 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 98,45,577 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 3,04,791 have tested positive and 2,99,427 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included nine from Adilabad, six from Bhadradri, 138 from areas under GHMC, 12 from Jagtiyal, seven Jangaon, six from Bhupalpally, two from Gadwal, seven from Kamareddy, 18 from Karimnagar, 10 from Khammam, three from Asifabad, 19 from Mahabubnagar, 14 from Mancherial, seven from Medak, 42 from Medchal Malkajgiri, three from Mulugu, six from Nagarkurnool, 18 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, 16 from Nirmal, 24 from Nizamabad, six each from Peddapalli and Siricilla, 35 from Rangareddy, 24 from Sangareddy, six from Siddipet, eight each from Suryapet and Vikarabad, six each from Wanaparthy and Warangal Rural, 12 Warangal Urban and seven from Yadadri.
