Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 631 new Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Thursday taking the overall toll to 1,467 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,72,123. As on Thursday, there were 8,826 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 802 persons recovered on Thursday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,61,830 with a recovery rate of 96.21 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 94.2 per cent.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, 57,405 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 658 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 56,62,711 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,72,123 have tested positive and 2,61,830 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 21 from Adilabad, 22 from Bhadradri, 109 from areas under GHMC, 14 from Jagtiyal, eight from Jangaon, nine from Bhupalpally, four from Gadwal, seven from Kamareddy, 34 from Karimnagar, 24 from Khammam, five from Asifabad, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 19 from Mahabubabad, 12 from Mancherial, nine from Medak, 57 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 14 each from Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, 29 from Nalgonda, nine from Nirmal, 11 from Nizamabad, 12 from Pedapalli, 13 from Siricilla, 49 from Rangareddy, 18 from Sangareddy, 12 from Siddipet, 18 from Suryapet, nine from Vikarabad, eight from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural, 21 from Warangal Urban and 19 from Yadadri.
