Telangana records 729 new Covid-19 infections, six deaths on Friday
A total of 987 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.67 per cent on Friday.
Hyderabad: Telangana reported 729 new Covid infections and six fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,720 and the total number of positive cases to 6,30,514. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday was 10,942.
On Friday, authorities conducted 1,06,045 Covid tests of which results of 1,135 samples were awaited. A total of 987 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.67 per cent on Friday.
So far, a total of 1,95,93,932 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,30,514 have tested positive and 6,15,852 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included three from Adilabad, 31 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 72 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, six from Jangaon, 15 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, two from Jogulamba Gadwal, 42 from Karimnagar, 72 from Khammam, four from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, six from Mahabubnagar, 30 from Mahabubabad, 45 from Mancherial, four from Medak, 35 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 21 from Mulugu, five from Nagarkurnool, 59 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, four from Nizamabad, 32 from Peddapalli, 22 from Rajanna Siricilla, 38 from Rangareddy, 14 from Sangareddy, 27 from Siddipet, 24 from Suryapet, six from Vikarabad,10 from Wanaparthy, seven from Warangal Rural, 51 from Warangal Urban and 20 from Yadadri Bhongir.
