Telangana releases Class X pre-final exams schedule
School Education Department has announced that Class X pre-final examinations will be conducted from February 17 to 24, with officials directed to ensure prompt evaluation and special focus on improving performance of academically weak students
Hyderabad: The School Education Department has released the schedule for Class X pre-final examinations, which will be conducted from February 17 to 24.
The exams will begin with first language paper on February 17, followed by second and third languages on February 18 and 19 respectively. The department scheduled mathematics, physical science and biological science exams on February 20, 21 and 23 respectively. The exams will conclude with social studies subject on February 24.
Except for physical and biological science subjects that will be held from 9.30 am to 11 am, all exams will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
School Education Director Dr E Naveen Nicolas directed all mandal educational officers and headmasters to ensure that evaluation of all answer scripts is done immediately after the exams. He asked them to review students’ performance and lay special focus on academically weak students to improve their performance in SSC Public Exams, scheduled from March 14 to April 16.
Dr Nicolas also instructed regional directors of school education and district educational officers to issue necessary directions to schools for smooth and proper conduct of the Class X pre-final exams, adhering to the schedule.
