Telangana releases Common Entrance Tests schedule, EAPCET from May 4

The Telangana Council of Higher Education has announced the schedule for TG CETs 2026. The TG EAPCET will begin on May 4, followed by ICET, EdCET, ECET, and other entrance exams through early June.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Tuesday released the schedule for the Telangana Common Entrance Tests (TG CETs) 2026, scheduling the TG EAPCET from May 4.

The EAPCET for agriculture and pharmacy programmes will be held on May 4 and 5, while the entrance test for undergraduate engineering programmes will be conducted from May 9 to 11.


As per the schedule released by the TGCHE Chairman Prof V Balakista Reddy and Secretary Prof Sriram Venkatesh, the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) for admissions to two-year BEd programmes will be held on May 12, while the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for MBA and MCA admissions is scheduled for May 13 and 14.

Similarly, the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) for diploma and BSc Mathematics degree holders for lateral entry admission to second-year engineering and pharmacy courses will be conducted on May 15. The LAWCET and PGLCET are scheduled for May 18, while the Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET) will be held from May 28 to 31, and May 31 to June 3, respectively.

A detailed notification containing schedule, eligibility to apply, registration fee, etc., will be announced by the CET conveners in due course of time, said Prof Sriram Venkatesh, Secretary TGCHE.
