Telangana reports 1,436 new cases, 14 fatalities on Sunday

On Sunday, 3,614 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 94.85 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,436 new Covid infections and 14 fatalities on Sunday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,378 and the total number of positive cases to 5,91,170. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday evening, stood at 27,016.

Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 97,751 Covid tests of which results of 1,587 samples are awaited. On Sunday, 3,614 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 94.85 per cent. So far, a total of 1,58,61,242 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,91,170 have tested positive and 5,60,776 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included seven cases from Adilabad, 89 from Bhadradri, 184 from areas under GHMC, 32 from Jagtial, 17 from Jangaon, 34 from Bhupalpally, 24 from Gadwal, 67 from Karimnagar, 148 from Khammam, seven from Asifabad, 39 from Mahabubnagar, 49 from Mahabubabad, 39 from Mancherial, eight from Medak, 71 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 27 from Mulugu, 19 from Nagarkurnool, 118 from Nalgonda, 11 from Narayanpet, six from Nirmal, 14 from Nizamabad, 44 from Peddapalli, 18 from Siricilla, 78 from Rangareddy, 39 from Sangareddy, 42 from Siddipet, 64 from Suryapet, 31 from Vikarabad, 19 from Wanaparthy, 27 from Warangal Rural, 54 from Warangal Urban and 10 from Bhongir.
