Hyderabad: Telangana reported 147 new Covid infections and one fatality on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,986 and the total number of positive cases so far to 6, 75, 148. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday, was 3,531.
The authorities on Thursday conducted 33,836 Covid tests of which results of 1,460 samples were awaited. A total of 148 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.85 per cent on Thursday.
So far, a total of 2,84,17,448 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,75,148 have tested positive and 6,67,631 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included three from Adilabad, seven from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 56 from areas under GHMC, one from Jagtial, one from Kamareddy, 11 from Karimnagar, five from Khammam, one each from Komarambheem Asifabad and Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, two each from Mancherial and Medak, five from Medchal-Malkajgiri, six from Nalgonda, three from Nizamabad, five from Peddapalli, one from Rajanna Siricilla, 12 from Rangareddy, one from Sangareddy, three each from Siddipet and Suryapet, one from Vikarabad, three from Wanaparthy, one from Warangal Rural, nine from Warangal Urban and one from one from Yadadri Bhongir.
