Hyderabad: Telangana reported 162 new Covid infections and one fatality on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,921 and the total number of positive cases to 6,66,546. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday, was 4,455.

The authorities on Sunday conducted 32,828 Covid tests of which results of 886 samples were awaited. A total of 247 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.74 per cent on Sunday. So far, a total of 2,65,00,246 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,66,546 have tested positive and 6,58,170 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two each from Adilabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem, 63 from areas under GHMC, one each from Jagtiyal, Jangaon and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 13 from Karimnagar, five from Khammam, one from Komarambheem Asifabad, two from Mahabubnagar, nine from Mancherial, seven from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 10 from Nalgonda, two from Nizamabad, three from Peddapalli, two from Rajanna Siricilla, 11 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, five from Siddipet, three from Suryapet, one from Vikarabad, three each from Wanaparthy and Warangal Rural and nine from Warangal Urban.
