Hyderabad: Telangana reported 171 new Covid infections and one fatality on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,952 and the total number of positive cases to 6,71,000. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday, was 4,126.
The authorities today conducted 38,373 Covid tests of which results of 1,702 samples were awaited. A total of 208 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.79 per cent on Thursday.
So far, a total of 2,74,68,486 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,71,000 have tested positive and 6,62,922 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 58 from areas under GHMC, six from Jagtial, 13 from Karimnagar, six from Khammam, two each from Kumarambheem Asifabad and Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, two from Mancherial, 11 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, one from Nagarkurnool, four from Nalgonda, one from Nirmal, two from Nizamabad, five from Peddapalli, three from Rajanna Siricilla, 13 from Rangareddy, six from Sangareddy, four from Siddipet, two from Suryapet, three from Wanaparthy, two from Warangal Rural, 13 from Warangal Urban and four from Yadadri Bhongir.
