Hyderabad: Telangana on Sunday reported 429 Covid-19 infections and one fatality, taking the overall number of deaths to 4,107 and the cumulative number of positive infections so far to 7,83,448. The active Covid-19 positive infections in Telangana, as on Sunday, is 11,681.
A total of 142 Covid infections have been reported from areas under GHMC, 41 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 33 from Rangareddy district and 22 from Nalgonda.
The health department has conducted 32,932 Covid tests on Sunday out of which results of 2,421 samples were awaited. A total of 2,421 individuals had recovered on Sunday with a recovery rate of 97.98 per cent.
So far, the health department has conducted 3,29,87,442 Covid-19 tests in the State out of which 7,83,448 have tested positive and 7,67,660 persons have recovered.
