Hyderabad: Telangana on Tuesday reported 569 Covid-19 infections, taking the cumulative number of positive infections so far to 7,84,631. With no fatalities being reported on Tuesday, there were 8,379 active Covid-19 positive infections in Telangana.
Out of the 569 positive infections, a total of 133 Covid infections have been reported from areas under GHMC, 37 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 49 from Rangareddy district, 33 from Nalgonda, and 25 from Khammam.
The Health Department conducted 51,518 Covid tests on Tuesday out of which results of 1,433 samples were awaited. A total of 2,098 individuals recovered on Tuesday with a recovery rate of 98.41 per cent.
So far, the Health Department conducted 3,30,89,480 Covid-19 tests in the State out of which 7,84,631 have tested positive and 7,72,145 persons have recovered.
