Telangana reports 696 Covid-19 cases, six deaths

A total of 858 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.80 percent

Telangana reports 696 Covid-19 cases, six deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 696 new Covid infections and six fatalities till Monday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3735 and the total number of positive cases to 6,32,379. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday was 10, 148.

On Monday, authorities conducted 1, 05, 797 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 549 samples are awaited. A total of 858 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.80 percent on Monday. So far, a total of 1, 98, 65, 968 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6, 32, 379 have tested positive and 6, 18, 496 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, 35 from Bhadradri, 68 from areas under GHMC, 21 from Jagtial, six from Jangaon, 15 from Bhupalpally, four from Gadwal, two from Kamareddy, 45 from Karimnagar, 82 from Khammam, one from Asifabad, eight from Mahabubnagar, 23 from Mahabubabad, 19 from Mancherial, four from Medak, 31 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 19 from Mulugu, four from Nagarkurnool, 49 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 48 from Peddapalli, 18 from Siricilla, 33 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, 24 from Siddipet, 33 from Suryapet, four from Vikarabad, six each from Wanaparthy and Warangal Rural, 48 from Warangal Urban and 21 from Bhongir.
