Telangana reports 869 new Covid cases, eight deaths on Thursday

On Thursday, 1197 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.32 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 869 new Covid infections and eight fatalities on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,669 and the total number of positive cases to 6,24,379. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday was 13,052.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 1,05,123 Covid tests of which results of 1,178 samples were awaited. On Thursday, 1197 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.32 per cent. So far, a total of 1,87,77,030 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,24,379 have tested positive and 6,07,658 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, 38 from Bhadradri, 101 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, seven from Jangaon, 19 from Bhupalpally, four each from Gadwal and Kamareddy, 51 from Karimnagar, 52 cases from Khammam, four from Asifabad, 17 from Mahabubnagar, 35 from Mahabubabad, 42 from Mancherial, six from Medak, 41 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 20 from Mulugu, six from Nagarkurnool, 72 from Nalgonda, five from Narayanpet, eight each from Nirmal and Nizamabad, 45 from Peddapalli, 22 from Siricilla, 65 from Rangareddy, 10 from Sangareddy, 28 from Siddipet, 54 from Suryapet, eight from Vikarabad, nine from Wanaparthy, 12 from Warangal Rural, 33 from Warangal Urban and 20 from Bhongir.
